Vacation Of A Lifetime – In Other Words
The only way to keep her alive was to abandon her at an orphanage gate; she was a girl, born in a masculist clan, where her gender decided her fate. Dumped and shunned from the day she was born, she instantly learnt that it's not easy being a woman in this man's world; she vouched that no bigotry, no dogmatism, can leave her crippled, that she would one day rise up, turn tables and change labels. Years and years of trails and tribulations have transformed her into a woman of substance, so wise. She's fought her battles, slayed her cynics, she has prosperously survived. Gifting herself a perfect "vacation" on her 25th birthday, that she so rightly deserves - this is a story of a champion, who in the face of flouters refused to give up!

I am back again with an amazing tag and for a change, I am volunteering for this one! Well, when the tag is so appealing, it’s kind of difficult to stop yourself from indulging into it! Right? *wink wink*

Faded – Three Line Tales
Amidst fun-filled moments, family, friends, glee and exhilarating water sports, Paul was his happiest, cheeriest self at the beach. With pristine silver shores, lapping teal waves and sun-kissed golden sands, nothing in the world could beat the tranquility that the Gulf offered, plus, he could also show off his abs that he'd worked so hard for. Alas, "The Shark Attack" took from him, more than he'd bargained, leaving him crippled with blurry images, fuzzy vision and faded memories!
Power Of Speech
Hey Everyone! How you doin’? Well, I am back! *happy happy dance*
Don’t know if you’d noticed but I was gone from the blogosphere for almost 6 days and it felt like an eternity! *sob sob*
Bad allergies, high temperature, body aches and troubled respiration – Ah, poor me and my feeble immunity. Post a high dose of antihistamines, corticosteroids, decongestants and a “cheerless” weekend, that just passed by miserably – I am slowly making my way to recovery, hoping to get better soon! *fingers crossed* And, here’s me getting back to do what I love the most – killing the blues with some Real Talk and INSPIRATION!

Mirror – In Other Words
She looks into the mirror and says to herself "How can people see me like this?", broken, dispirited, all that she notices is ugly-unattractiveness and grisly-disfigurement. The rough lines, blistered edges, scarred creases, uneven contours, they all remind her of the past glory days when she was credited to be the "prettiest of them all!" With sunrise-gold hair, saccharine sweet lips, velvety eyelashes and constellation-blue eyes, Rose was once an apotheosis of artless beauty, with many suitors and admirers yearning for her love and company. Reminiscing the days gone by, unhinging the horrors of suffering and the agony of 20 reconstructive surgeries, she picks up her handbag and kisses her mom goodbye, as she steps out of the house for the first time in 5 years! By the dresser rests the latest newspaper with a headline that reads "25 Year Old Acid-Attack Victim Decides To Follow Her Dreams, Returns To School!"
Too Busy To Take Care Of Yourself?
Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are having a great day. It’s time to kill the blues with some Real Talk and SELF CARE!
It’s a crazy life – with numerous twists and turns and constant battles. Ah, responsibilities, obligations, liabilities – different names but equally taxing exposures, taking a toll on our lives and us! *sighs*
With overwhelming duties at work, million chores at home and a jam-packed calendar with overdue tasks – there is little to no time left for us and our life. Well, stressing out on burdens, missing deadlines and traumatizing our metal and emotional health not only leads us to a “self-sabotaging” state but also, little by little deteriorates the idea of “self-being”. All in all making things worse!
Bicameral Mind – Three Line Tales
"Let's run away, quick!" said Dolores, extending her right hand, hiding the left behind her back, her gaze as provocative as ever, her bicameral mind at play, conscious and finally awake after 30 years of being in this remote park where "guests" pay top dollars to share wild-west adventures with android "hosts". "West-World is not a place that you can escape from love" said Teddy, confused, mystified, because he knew he was not programmed to hurt the guests, he knew he was just a harmless host, created as a component of DELOS corporation - existing in loop, living and dying as a part of a narrative. Little did he know, that their creator-programmer Dr. Ford was shot-dead by a "host" and there was a coup!
