Bicameral Mind – Three Line Tales

"Let's run away, quick!" said Dolores, extending her right hand,
hiding the left behind her back,
her gaze as provocative as ever,
her bicameral mind at play, conscious and finally awake
after 30 years of being in this remote park
where "guests" pay top dollars to share wild-west adventures with android "hosts".

"West-World is not a place that you can escape from love" said Teddy,
confused, mystified, because he knew he was not programmed to hurt the guests,
he knew he was just a harmless host,
created as a component of DELOS corporation - existing in loop,
living and dying as a part of a narrative.

Little did he know, that their creator-programmer Dr. Ford was shot-dead by a "host"
and there was a coup!

  1. Great poem, thought it made me sad for the robot….just like when I’ve watched some research videos on robotics that have been pushed around to see how they respond. My heart breaks a little.

          1. Hehe.. That was quick! 😉

I’m sure you are gonna love it!🙂
(Btw, it’s a little more towards adult content – so be discrete about the company you watch it with! Lol!)

  2. You know my mind went completely blank after seeing this prompt. And look at ypu…what a magical piece you wove with your excellent choice of words. It is that mic drop and quietly walk away kinda moment
