7 Amazing Blogging Facts!

Hey Everyone! Hope y’all are doing wonderful? Happy Monday!

As I was whiling my time away this weekend, I stumbled upon some interesting “facts and stats” about blogs and blogging. Considering that I am a full-time blogger now (since I shamefully have nothing else to do!) the post immediately caught my attention and I went all “Googly” over it – exposing myself to a plethora of information, that (obviously) I can’t help but share with y’all. *knowledge shared is power multiplied*
Brace yourself – Because this post might or might-not hoist your blogger spirit and may or may-not open up your eyes about the nitty-gritty of blogging. Nevertheless, it will for sure make you wiser!

FUN FACT – Did you know – Justin Hall, an US freelance journalist is said to be the first blogger? Well, he managed to publish his first blog in 1994, while still in college! *the blogging pioneer* iScriblr_bloggingFacts

Ghosts In The Machine – Three Line Tales

iScriblr_tltweek138

A ghost of a woman jumping out of the background of the television shows,
an outstretched hand reaching out from the black murk
beyond the screen of an unplugged television,
double images, fog, sound distortion, white noise
and strange static patterns,
Mary had encountered it all.

As described by the paranormal researchers who'd rushed to the scene,
this was a typical case of "Instrumental Trans-Communication"
where the ghosts and spirits were trying to communicate
with the living through a TV-like medium;
flying through the airwaves, vaulting into our lives.

Are our TVs really a sort of potential portal between these realms,
or did Mary go a little overboard
with her bingeing of "Stranger Things" on Netflix?

"We've got 24 hours before they burn them all down! Hurry up!"
announced Sue to a group of new recruits of the "Resistance Army",
amidst ramming murmurs and cramming whispers.

Their task - To memorize and protect
the world's greatest literary and cultural works,
before the "firemen" arrive.

Alas, year 2069 AD marks an annulment of literature by the "mass media",
where the books are outlawed,
and any allurement of libraries is extinct!

My Gift Is My Heart

iScriblr_my_heart

This modest heart of mine is all that I can provide,
No riches, no possessions I have accumulated,
love is all that my soul confides.

Loving you with all my whole, is a gift that I affirm,
Worshiping your every measure,
I shall honor your kingdom.

You are the brilliance I seek, in your grace I relentlessly believe,
You are the object of my forever affection,
your side I shall never leave.

My truthfulness, my sincerity, my innocence
I offer to thee,
Your happiness, your contentment, your prosperity
I guarantee.

When Two Worlds Collide – Three Line Tales

iScriblr_week134

"Once in 50 God-damn years!" Rob whispers, teary-eyed,
staring at an old-crinkled photograph of him and his daughter,
who had gone missing when she was just 5, only to be found dead later.

With innumerable agonizing questions, untold doubts and
infinite unbearable complains,
he had waited for this day all his life;
the day when the heavens subside and two worlds collide,
of living and the dead.

"Ah, here we are!" he exclaims,
as he takes his final step towards the "portal to another dimension"
hoping to embrace his little girl once again.

Bicameral Mind – Three Line Tales

"Let's run away, quick!" said Dolores, extending her right hand,
hiding the left behind her back,
her gaze as provocative as ever,
her bicameral mind at play, conscious and finally awake
after 30 years of being in this remote park
where "guests" pay top dollars to share wild-west adventures with android "hosts".

"West-World is not a place that you can escape from love" said Teddy,
confused, mystified, because he knew he was not programmed to hurt the guests,
he knew he was just a harmless host,
created as a component of DELOS corporation - existing in loop,
living and dying as a part of a narrative.

Little did he know, that their creator-programmer Dr. Ford was shot-dead by a "host"
and there was a coup!
