Yet again, a TANKA! Also, I’m choosing the synchronized 11:11 as my theme for today, just because that’s the day when me and my Huz had met for the first time (and my life changed for GOOD!)

Here’s some Wikipedia gyan for y’all  – Some numerologists and New Age philosophies believe that events linked to the time 11:11 appear more often than can be explained by chance or coincidence and is an example of synchronicity. Some authors claim that seeing 11:11 on a clock is an auspicious sign. Others claim that 11:11 signals a spirit presence. However, skeptics say that Uri Geller’s examples of 11:11 phenomena in world events are examples of post-hoc reasoning and confirmation bias. A Confirmation bias – also called confirmatory bias or myside bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one’s pre-existing beliefs or hypotheses. It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning. People display this bias when they gather or remember information selectively, or when they interpret it in a biased way. The effect is stronger for emotionally charged issues and for deeply entrenched beliefs. Confirmation bias is a variation of the more general tendency of apophenia.

As always any feedback and advise is more than appreciated!

  1. Oh my gosh! It’s 11:11! I’ve been seeing this number absolutely everywhere in the most unlikeliest of places after I met my boyfriend. Details surrounding us were eerily coincidental that we both felt like the universe was listening.

  2. I believe we all have paths set for us by Our Heavenly Father before we are born. We are destined to meet all those who come into our paths for many reasons good or bad or indifference. They all play a part in our building character traits which allow us personal growth. This helps us find our way to Heaven where we should strive to belong to live with God and Jesus Christ and everyone else there.

  3. What an interesting concept, I never knew about the 11:11. I notice the number 11 quite frequently, but usually in relation to the number 9 because they are my birthday digits so I consider them symbolic numbers for me.
