How Do I Live?

iScriblr_robot

A Orphic jigsaw,

A puzzlement called "sentience"..

Split in two, this brain!

Do I listen to my heart?

Or die a slow compelled death?

This post is written in response to OctPoWriMo Challenge – where you’ll write a “POEM” everyday for 31 days, using the prompt word. Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

Day 28 word prompt is “SPLIT IN TWO”

Yet again, A “riddled” TANKA!

As always any feedback and advise is more than appreciated!

  1. This has got a powerful punch to it, moral compasses are tough and they cause quite the stir.

    This is amazing Richa ❤️

      1. The mind versus the heart. It’s quite the puzzle.

I think I rely more on my mind these days cause my heart has conned me too many times before.

I reckons it’s also one of those experience is the best teacher kind of situations 🙂

        1. True. I guess I just find my heart and inner voice tend to be more accurate as I tend to be very intuitive and my feelings, hence my heart are set very much connected. My head has a tendency to overthink and worry too much without looking at the bigger picture. I guess it truly comes down to finding the right balance of the two.😉

          1. Girls, you are rocking it! Loving the discussion coz it’s too REAL and relatable to ignore!
Yes, I agree, balance is the key and the wisdom of “getting the right balance” comes from experience! 😉
