The madness in me,

Supercedes your sanity,

Ah, hyped charades!

Carefree of worldly paroxysms,

I love being in my skin.

Day 17 word prompt is “MADNESS REIGNS!”

Suggested Form – Free verse to answer questions like – Does madness rule over me/you/us/them? Do I/you/we/they hold the reins, controlling the madness?

I yet again aimed at writing a TANKA to challenge myself to fit in “my concept of madness” in just 5 lines and 31 syllables. Hope I did justice!
