Insecurities In Love

Forsaken and solitary,
Life's been a constant sad story,
Nobody hears my mournful cries,
Everyday my confidence dies nonchalantly.

My insecurities, my fears,
They split my insides like a spear,
Oh how I desire to be saved,
Eternal release I have craved with misty tears.

They say its easy to overcome doubts,
That I could survive these blow-outs,
But they forget to lend me a hand,
This heartache they misunderstand for a stand-out!

Annihilating my belief,
He left me suffering in grief,
With uncertainty in my mind,
No love I can any longer find, nor any relief.

Day 3 word prompt is “INSECURITIES!”

Suggested Form – Florette.

PS –  My first ever FLORETTE. Trust me – It supposedly appears simpler than it really is! In all honesty, it took me a while before I could figure out the “Rhyme Scheme” of a,a,b,a and the “Meter Read” of 8,8,8,12! To add to it – Line #4 requires an internal rhyme scheme that rhymes the eighth syllable with the end of line #3, and continues to add on four more syllables than the other lines so that the fourth line ends rhyming with lines #1 and #2. PHEW!
