Love the view. It’s so strange to see the trees growing out of the water since I live in the desert and they are always on the land here.
It’s the flooding season here – It’s actually supposed to be at where you see the first line of trees! #fingersCrossed We are still a little below the flooding line! 😉

Oh yeah, it is a regular affair every year here in Memphis! (Thanks to the Mississippi River) and since we stay at a place which is located just right at the banks, it gets a little high for comfort!
I didn’t realize it was a regular thing. I thought flooding season was like a phrase for when especially bad storms hit. And certainly not in Tennessee which I thought was enough away from the sea and hurricanes not to have those kind of problems. I learn something new everyday. Makes the picture cooler now that I know a bit about it and flooding season.

Thanks to the “rains” – Mississippi river does flood, especially during this part of the year. On a brighter side – there is a bonus of good photos tho! 😉
