ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

Every Thursday, I will pick up a “prompt word” to be acted upon by y’all. You are free to go wild with your imagination and interpret the “prompt” in any way that you like – photo, prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, quotes, articles or drawing/painting – whatever works for you!
In short, it’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the prompt and go berserk!

TOPIC FOR TODAY : DREAM/DREAMER/DREAMING

Here’s my take on it –

iScriblr_dreams

“I believe in everything until it’s disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it’s in your mind. Who’s to say that dreams and nightmares aren’t as real as the here and now?”
― John Lennon

iScriblr_dreams

“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

iScriblr_dreams

“Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

iScriblr_dreams

“Hope is a waking dream.”
― Aristotle

iScriblr_dreams

“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will live as one.”
― John Lennon

iScriblr_dreams

“Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country.”
― Anais Nin

So there you have it folks – my cognizance of the word DREAM/DREAMER!

Well y’all, what is your take on word DREAM/DREAMER!/DREAMING? Is there a DREAM that you’ll like to share? Or are you the NON DREAMER kinds? Or may be DREAMING gets your grey cells flowing? Hit me up and share!

  1. Hey there beautiful, 🤗
Sorry for the long silence but I hope you’ve been well ❤️

Jumping straight into it, well taking a chance on a dream can be quite intimidating especially if you’ve got tiny little voices whispering in your ear that it’s a bad idea. In all honesty though we should all try to pursue our dreams.
That dream might just be the goose that lays the golden egg.

    1. I’m so sorry sweetie! Updated the hall of fame yet again!❤️ (Don’t know why your ping-backs are not showing up?) I loved your take – Chuck Palahniuk is a class part!

PS – Thank you for participating!👏👏

  2. Dream and dreams…what a nice challenge. I love all the John Lennon quotes. He was a true dreamer. I interviewed a professional rider this past winter and it looks like she will be on the Canadian team for the Pan American Games. She talked about “when dreams become goals” .

    1. You are never late for FOE! 😉 I loved your take Pam! Wonderful quotes!❤️

PS – Thank you for participating!👏👏
